My day

 Today Friday the 26th was a very tiring funny hot day me and my friends went helping and doing jobs for our principle he is a very good make his name is Russel Burt but we well know him for Mr Burt  . We helped him to clean the tents that the year 5 and 6 used first step was to do little jobs around the school then meet in the middle of the field sit down and pay attention to what he had to say about what to do and how to do the tents . 

First thing was to sweep all the grass and leave's or anything that didn't belong in the tent so we sweep the tents out then was told to unzip all the doors around the tent so the breeze could go through the tent and blow away all the funny smell . When we finished it we had to listen up and stand around the tent Mr Burt was around and listen . We had to pay attention to what he was saying so don't muck up the they we had to do the tent so we stood there watching Mr Burt pull every peg and do things very carefully .

We all had to get a buddy so it was easier to pack and put away the tent my buddy was Mr Burt it was little bit hard at first because i didn't know how to do it properly until we finished our first one then i started getting very used to it . First step take off all the pegs then put them in the packet they came in second if it was a curved tent then you had to take the pole that was threaded through out the front of the tent third take off the water proof cover that was over it fourth take the too longest poles that are threaded through the top all the way to the bottom you have to push it not pull it because you could make them spilt apart and it would be very annoying and sort of hard to get it through the little hole . 

When you do all of those you flatten the tent turn it over to make sure nothing is stuck under neath the tent you have to brush it off then flip it again to the front side of it and fold one side into the middle and make sure it's straight then do the same thing to the next side but fold it just over a little bit of the over one then fold it against each other and place the water proof cover on but make it skinny enough to fit on properly and when you do all of that you place the poles and the pegs on top and role it very very very tight as you can to make it small and easier to push into the bag and then there is how you do a tent  . After we done all the tents we were rewarded with a sausage sizzle and i think it's ice cream with yogurt and fruits .
