Year 7s stepping up and having a Fun day

 Kia orana i'm gonna explain what year 7s done last week when the year 8s where at camp. So on the first day some of the other year 7s wen't to volley ball so we had to wait until the next day. On the second day we done rotations the first rotation was with Mrs ILaoa we were playing a cookie game were you have to put the cookie on top of your head and try make the cookies way down into your mouth with out dropping it.

Next thing we done was Mrs Moala Clue game were we had to figure out what happened in the little story and how the man died. The other game we done with Mrs Moala was like a little clue fixing and trying to figure out what some of the words meant and how we could find our way around to know what the word meant.

Third thing was sport. The sport we done was soccer some of us didn't really wanna play because they thought it was going to be boring the people who actually wanted to play were happy and excited but didn't play by the rule's the teacher gave us we just picked up the ball and ran or just boot it high into the sky or far enough to get into the goal. It was easy to kick the ball into the goal cause the goal was pretty big. Some people were talking standing there other people were just standing or sitting down on the side line talking about what ever they are talking about.

Friday was the best day i reckon because we had a nice good fun Assembly and a pretty fun morning because all the team's had to games to play against each other the first was a game were you pick five people in your group and see how fast you could stack cups up on each other and how fast you could bring all down with out screwing up. Second game is a singing game were one of the teachers pick a topic and we have to sing a song that has that word in it. At 12:00 we had a big shared launch we all chipped in something.

The group names of are Duck Life,Strikers and the lucky last is Thunder. The meaning of the year 7s were leader ship and to show the rest of the school that the year 7s are positive enough to show support to each others around the school.

Term 3 Goals

The reason why i picked to Be good and change spots so i could be trusted to sit next to my friends and my teacher wont be bothered of always looking at me all the time. My Second goal i chose was to Achieve my work so i picked that one because when i start growing older i have a chance to pick what job i want and what i want to be so i don't need to have help all the time from my family and relying on people to do things for me. My third goal is to make sure to listen more to the teacher's and to think about respecting other people i don't link or i don't wanna be near to.

Today i was learning about Greek goddess and we had to chose 1 god to learn about and i chose Zeus goddess of or gods

Immersion Assembly

Welcome to Term 3.
I think Immersion Assembly is about what the whole school is going to do during this term and what the teachers have to say about this term.

On Monday morning the whole of Pt England school had a immersion assembly. We have a Knew Korero named A world of Difference team 1 presented what they are gonna do this term so what they were gonna present was what other county eat's for lunch and how they get to school and how they get home. At the end of there little clip Mrs Hockly stood up in front of the Assembly and gave a little speech to the year 1's about what they are gonna do this term.

 The second Team was Team 2 they were acting out as being Dora the explorer going around seeing all the other county's around the Earth.

The third team is Team was like a challenge to see who could travel around the world and to get back to Auckland city as fast as they could the first team to make it back was Miss Scanlan, Mrs Carruthers The second Team that made it was Mrs Carter , Mrs Tumahi and the lucky last that came last place and got eliminated was Miss King.

Team 4 came up next and were talking about were the food that they were eating came from like Miss West's sushi came from Japan and Miss Parent's Kebab Burrito. Miss Tuia was eaten aye Indian dish that was created in India and Mr Goodwin was just eating a plane Cray son.

Team 5 were showing the myth and legend about sina and the eel Mrs Tele'a was acting out as the eel and Mrs Ilaoa was acting out as Sina. The other teachers were acting out as Sina's older Brother.

 I am grateful for what the Teachers have provided for us and for using there time to teach us about things we haven't learnt before and im grateful for everything the school has done for the rest of the people that is in Pt England and for the people that went through Pt England and to say Thank you.
