Us boys had a talk about private parts about the boys and girls body and we were talking about relationships how we should become great friends before we think about being together or in a relationship . We were talking about how our body's change and how we sweat harder when were going through puberty you grow hair everywhere like on your genitals , armpits , feet , face  basically all around your body .

y8 camp reflection

 Kia ora and welcome . Last week Wednesday the year 8s went to leadership camp . On Wednesday year 8s had to come before 8:30 the normal time usually to come to school. We had to come in mufti. I wore grey track pants, a Nike white top with my black and green kathmandu jacket. It was kinda cold in the morning. We needed covered shoe’s to board the activities that we were doing at camp . It took 1 and a half hours to drive to the campsite. It didn't really feel like 1 hour and a half hours. It really felt like 30 minutes to be honest . 

My favourite activities were archery,airsoft rifles and mostly goat carts to be very honest I reckon I was the best drifter in my team . In archery I hit 4 bulls eyes in a row and 3 bulls eye 1 after missing one . The airsoft rifles were like my second favorite because it felt like I was shooting a real gun. I didn't really hit some of the targets, only the bottle that we snuck and placed to use for 1 of the targets .

The first night we had to go to sleep the boys did not know how to go to sleep they kept making funny noises like “ CHICKENNN “ or “ HELLOOOO “ and we all got in trouble for joining in with the noise . The last day was fun we went to the water garden it was fun walking around feeling like we were at the zoo looking things that looked very real . Then finishing with a little ride back home .

My day

 Today Friday the 26th was a very tiring funny hot day me and my friends went helping and doing jobs for our principle he is a very good make his name is Russel Burt but we well know him for Mr Burt  . We helped him to clean the tents that the year 5 and 6 used first step was to do little jobs around the school then meet in the middle of the field sit down and pay attention to what he had to say about what to do and how to do the tents . 

First thing was to sweep all the grass and leave's or anything that didn't belong in the tent so we sweep the tents out then was told to unzip all the doors around the tent so the breeze could go through the tent and blow away all the funny smell . When we finished it we had to listen up and stand around the tent Mr Burt was around and listen . We had to pay attention to what he was saying so don't muck up the they we had to do the tent so we stood there watching Mr Burt pull every peg and do things very carefully .

We all had to get a buddy so it was easier to pack and put away the tent my buddy was Mr Burt it was little bit hard at first because i didn't know how to do it properly until we finished our first one then i started getting very used to it . First step take off all the pegs then put them in the packet they came in second if it was a curved tent then you had to take the pole that was threaded through out the front of the tent third take off the water proof cover that was over it fourth take the too longest poles that are threaded through the top all the way to the bottom you have to push it not pull it because you could make them spilt apart and it would be very annoying and sort of hard to get it through the little hole . 

When you do all of those you flatten the tent turn it over to make sure nothing is stuck under neath the tent you have to brush it off then flip it again to the front side of it and fold one side into the middle and make sure it's straight then do the same thing to the next side but fold it just over a little bit of the over one then fold it against each other and place the water proof cover on but make it skinny enough to fit on properly and when you do all of that you place the poles and the pegs on top and role it very very very tight as you can to make it small and easier to push into the bag and then there is how you do a tent  . After we done all the tents we were rewarded with a sausage sizzle and i think it's ice cream with yogurt and fruits .

Jacinda adern

 Today on Thursday the 25th our New Zealand prime minister Jacinda Adern came to Pt England school to have lunch with us and all so because of the year 4s and 3s for making a video and a thank u letter to Jacinda adern . She asked us question's , she ask if we had question i asked if she would want to go to the movies with me everyone started laughing giggling then she ask me what movie would we watch 

And i said wonder woman everyone started laughing more harder and giggling louder Jacinda Adern was even laughing i felt embarrassed for a little bit but felt it funny to . We all went to our class rooms and she walked around talking to every single class . We went to have our lunch and played out side with my friends jacinda went walkng around everyone was all around her . Then she left just when we finished launch .
